Holiday Kitty Cat Care was established in 2015 and prides itself on keeping the same customers who use the service year after year and welcoming new ones. This 5* cat sitting service has been nominated by its customers for a North Tyneside business award in 2018 and 2019.
It offers its clients and their cats an all year round including Christmas Day service.
They are "cats only" and do not walk dogs, so the dog scents will not be transfered onto the cat where they could get very stressed if not used to dog smells.
Unlike a cattery or pet hotel they look after your beautiful felines in their own home whilst you are away rather then take them out of their familiar environment and into an unfamiliar one.
After registering your details and the dates required for cat care Claire (Head Cat) will then organise a a short telephone conversation to discuss your requirements and for them to answer any questions you may have. A follow up home visit will then be arranged. However since the Covid-19 outbreak the home visit will be conducted via a data call using Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp or Zoom. This will hopefully be a temporary measure until social distancing has been relaxed.
Holiday Kitty Cat Care are very experienced in cat behaviours and the social needs of certain types of felines such as semi ferals, rescue and nervous cats.
Whether you are going away for one day or one month Holiday Kitty Cat Care will take care of your cats so you can come back to a happy healthy pet.
Whilst visiting your home Holiday Kitty Cat Care can also draw blinds, leave lights on, move post, water plants, feed fish at no extra cost. For the time you are away Holiday Kitty Cat Care becomes an extension to your family and you can be assured that trust, reliability and confidentialty are paramount.
Holiday Kitty Cat Care are commited to reducing their carbon footprint by encouraging customers to have 1 visit per day and using food timers and microchip feeders to ensure cats are being fed throughout the day or at certain times to maintain the cats routine. However this does not apply if cats rely on timed medications. Please ask for further details on this.
